Abstract
African-American from Detroit with an Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) background. Anvil sported the biggest silhouette on the team and was the most patient person on it. EOD teaches patience as literal survival. Anvil applied that to everything.

Built things and blew things up with equal competence. His engineering role proved critical in gate-stabilization and breach-repair episodes, giving the character a story function beyond the obvious. The GroundLink Command defense sequences in Episodes 14 and 27 were Anvil toy commercials.
