Abstract

ENIGMA jammed global communications as cover for a separate operation tracking a strange signal beneath an archaeological site. The signal didn't match any known technology. It pulsed, it moved, and it responded to equipment brought near it. For the first time, the show hinted that the conflict involved something much older than a modern paramilitary organization.

Wavelength and the Wakefinder got their first real spotlight. The Ghost Signal was the series' recurring mythology thread, the breadcrumb that kept pulling the story deeper into territory that a standard action cartoon would never have touched.
