Abstract

A flashback revealing who Krachus had been before ENIGMA. As Roughcut, he operated inside the C.H.A.O.S./Sector orbit and was considered dangerous but valuable. Victor Graves recruited him not through coercion but by showing him enough truth to make betrayal feel like clarity. The tragedy was that Krachus wasn't duped. He made a choice.

Garrison remembered Krachus as someone who could have gone either way. Krachus fought like C.H.A.O.S. because he literally came from that world. The episode made Viceroy's recruitment style clear: he converted people by revealing enough hidden truth to make every old loyalty feel compromised.
