Episode 39: Vesper
Villain character study.
Abstract
A focus episode on Vesper that traced her scientific rise, her recruitment by Viceroy, and her belief that human limitations could be revised if enough institutional fear was stripped away. She wasn't softened or made sympathetic in a conventional sense. She was made more interesting. Brilliant, clinical, ambitious, and quietly hungry for Viceroy's approval in a way he valued without reciprocating.

Eclipse One was teased and the HELIX BioCore Lab got a prestige showcase. The Viceroy-Vesper dynamic was clearer. His support made HELIX possible, and she knew it. She wanted his attention and he valued her usefulness, but the relationship was asymmetric.
