Abstract

Developed by Triage in-show, the EchoScan let operatives test whether someone was real or an Echo Unit replacement. In play, it turned every figure on the shelf into a potential suspect. One of the line's smarter accessory concepts because it sold paranoia, not just equipment.

Archive Notes

Triage developed the first improvised testing logic in Episode 33. The formalized EchoScan Kit connected to the paranoia arc running from Episodes 33 through 58. The data readout card was a nice packaging touch.
