Abstract

The ultimate unreleased playset concept. Northgate Station was the fortress above the ice. The Silent Gate was the mythic chamber underneath it, the master-lock environment the entire movie had been driving toward. The object that made the movie's climax feel like something more than a fight in a gate room. Too large, too late, and too dependent on movie momentum that never materialized commercially.
