First gate event. Keepers appear.
Abstract
The Mediterranean gate reached threshold and the team witnessed a gate event for the first time. The ground trembled, ancient structures illuminated, and a shimmering aperture appeared. Before anyone could act, robed figures emerged from nowhere, sealed the gate with an unknown artifact, and vanished without a word.

The Threshold gate playset was built to sell this episode, and the Seal Key accessory got its first on-screen use. The team watched unknown operatives seal a gate that could have been explored, and they were furious about it. Their handlers offered no explanations.
