Cipher's heritage. Stillpoint defined.
Abstract
Cipher went to the Keepers seeking answers about HELIX. They revealed something unexpected. The enhancement program was attempting to artificially replicate what certain Keeper bloodlines carried naturally, a sensitivity to Axis energy and gate proximity that they called Stillpoint. Cipher's abilities weren't training. They were heritage.

The Keepers warned that HELIX's artificial approach was inherently unstable and enhanced operatives would eventually degrade. ENIGMA knew this and simply didn't care about long-term outcomes, which said everything about how Viceroy viewed his own people.
