Abstract

C.H.A.O.S. located a HELIX test site, but the facility turned out to be partly staged. Vesper had allowed some prototypes to be captured because the true test wasn't the prototypes themselves. It was observing how C.H.A.O.S. responded to them. She was studying the team while appearing to lose expendable assets.

Splice Unit prototypes appeared and BioCore Lab components got stronger screen logic. The BioCore Transport moved Vesper's containment equipment to the proving ground site. A resource-transfer scene showed Viceroy monitoring HELIX results. Her strategic threat deepened here because she was clearly thinking several moves ahead of the people trying to stop her.
