Abstract
Nexus contamination from the Breach Point episode was spreading. Artifacts in C.H.A.O.S. custody behaved differently. Power Cells drained faster. The Wakefinder detected faint signals where no gates were supposed to exist. Something inside the Nexus was pressing against its boundaries.

Atmospheric dread without a major battle. The threat was systemic and ambient, harder to fight than a tactical enemy. Wildmark and Triage tracked biological effects while Wavelength tracked signal anomalies and the Keepers argued about whether intervention would make things worse.
