Abstract

The Asterion Index was immediately the most contested object in the hidden war. C.H.A.O.S. had it. ENIGMA wanted it. The Keepers demanded it be destroyed. The government wanted it studied. Titan Dynamics offered to "secure" it. Garrison had to decide who to trust with something he barely understood.

The Keepers argued that some gates shown on the Index were sealed for a reason, and that finding them was the first step toward accidentally opening them. ENIGMA's counterargument through Krachus was that the Keepers had been hiding this information for centuries out of cowardice. Both arguments had genuine merit.
