Lost Team memory. Emotional center.
Abstract
A memory fragment appeared in unstable space. Not a gate but an echo of the Lost Team's final route. Vitals heard voices that weren't distress signals. They were aware of him. The fragment tempted him with the possibility that the full Lost Team could still be recovered, but the road was preserving decisions, not people.
Archive Notes
Cipher crossed the unstable threshold to pull Vitals back. Gate Keeper sealed the road but allowed C.H.A.O.S. to preserve a record of what it contained. Growth for a character who had previously wanted to seal everything without exception.
The Lost Team warning survived in the preserved record. "Never gather the last four."
