The Builders
Unknown precursor civilization behind the Axis System.
Abstract
The name later researchers and fans used for whoever built, discovered, or first systematized the Axis network. The show never presented them as an active faction. They existed as absence: architecture without authors, technology without manuals, and a history the Keepers inherited only in fragments.
Archive Notes
The Keepers claimed descent from Builder civilization exiles, but even their records were partial, edited, and filtered through doctrine.
No confirmed Builder character appeared in the animated series. Their presence was inferred through gate structures, route logic, Silent Gate material, and the scale of the system itself.
Archive classification remains deliberately uncertain: civilization, order, species, or coalition are all possible readings.
